Port going in...

This week has been a challange... I still have my central line. The central line goes into my chest and is stiched on. Ive been glad to have because its so easy to get IV meds this way. My lites have been off and Ive recieved hours of Iv treatments for it. I did find out today that I will be going in on Monday to get this line out and have a port put in. The port will be put in my chest under my skin so I will not have to worry about getting it wet or anything. This port can be left in for years and years as needed. I hope the sugery goes well!

The port surgery did not work! I still had most of the pain of having one, the needle would not advance..so here I am still with my Central line..
